"Returning to Camp" Original Oil Painting by Bill Mittag
Bill was born in 1935 in west Texas and grew up in southeastern New Mexico. He primarily focuses on historical Native American camp scenes in the era before the American west was changed forever by the great western migration. He considers himself a semi-impressionist and enjoys the “time of the horse” history of plains Native Americans.
